1. Function description

High/medium/low risk vehicles AI risk statistics, risk value calculation rules

2. Calculation Description

2.1 risk classification

Risk Level Composite Risk Score
NO RISK 0- 19
Low risk 20- 59
Medium Risk 60- 79
High Risk 80- 100

2.2 Risk Value Calculation

  • A total of 5 risk types: mental state risk, driving behavior risk, weather risk, route risk, driving intensity
Normal risk value: Calculate the risk value for the last four hours
Additional risk value bonus item: calculate the risk value of the last 5 minutes (20 minutes after the same alarm type reaches the corresponding number of times),
High risk alarm: more than or equal to 3 times, 20 points (score = 20+3*1)
Medium risk alarm: more than or equal to 6 times, 20 points (score = 20+0.5*6)
If it is not reported again after 5 minutes, 20 points will be cleared and only the normal risk value (number of risk alarms * single risk level score) will be retained.
  • The maximum risk value score calculated separately for each sub- item is 100. No score will be calculated after the 100 is exceeded. When calculating the comprehensive risk value, multiply it by the percentage.
For example, the weather risk value is 80, the proportion is 10%, and the calculation formula = 80*10%= 8 risk value

  • Comprehensive risk value- the sum of the risk values (maximum 100) multiplied by the proportion of each, the sum of the risk values of the five risk types.
Example of calculation of integrated risk value:
Mental State Alarm Risk: Individual Risk Value 80
Driving behavior risk: individual risk value 60
Weather risk: individual risk value 40
Line risk: individual risk value 30
Driving intensity: individual risk value 50
    Comprehensive risk value = '8020% +6020% +4010% +3020% +50*30% = 53 = low risk'

2.3 VaR Details

2.3.1 Mental State Risk (20%)

Alarm Type Level Risk Value
618 // Fatigue Driving Alarm Level 1 Medium 0.5
619 // Fatigue Driving Alarm Level 2 High 1
620 // Call and Call Alarm Level 1 Low 0.25
621 // Call and Call Level 2 Medium 0.5
702 // Do not look at the front alarm level 1 for a long time Medium 0.5
703 // Do not look ahead for a long time. Alarm Level 2 High 1
710 // Both hands off steering wheel at the same time Alarm Level 1 Medium 0.5
711 // Both hands off the steering wheel at the same time Alarm Level 2 High 1
49 // Fatigue Driving High 1

2.3.2 Risk of driving behaviour (20%)

Alarm Type Level Risk Value
600 // Forward Collision Warning Level 1 Low 0.25
601 // Forward Collision Warning Level 2 Medium 0.5
602 // Lane Departure Warning Level 1 Medium 0.5
603 // Lane Departure Warning Level 2 High 1
604 //Vehicle Distance Over Alarm Level 1 Medium 0.5
605 // Vehicle Distance Over Alarm Level 2 High 1
606 //Pedestrian Collision Alarm Level 1 Medium 0.5
607 // Pedestrian Collision Warning Level 2 High 1
608 // Frequent Channel Change Level 1 Low 0.25
609 //Frequent Channel Change Level 2 Medium 0.5
720 //rapid acceleration alarm low 0.25
721 //sudden deceleration alarm low 0.25
734 // Probe Occlusion Alarm Level 1 Low 0.25
735 // Probe Occlusion Alarm Level 2 Medium 0.5
11 // overspeed alarm medium 0.5

2.3.3 Weather Risk (10%)

Weather Type Level Risk Value
Blue Weather Warning None 0
yellow weather warning low deduction of 2 points per hour, less than one hour does not count as a score, warning intermittent will be superimposed on the time summary, summary time up to one hour also count as a score
Orange Weather Warning Medium Deduct 4 points per hour. If less than one hour is not counted as a score, the overlapping time of the warning will be summarized intermittently. If the summary time reaches one hour, the score will be counted as a score.
Red Weather Warning High Deduct 12 points per hour, less than one hour does not count as a score, and the overlapping time of the intermittent warning will be summarized, and the summary time reaches one hour also counts as a score

2.3.4 Line Risk (20%)

Alarm Type Level Risk Value
1520 // Overspeed Alarm (Platform) for Vehicle Risk Section High 1
1524 // Vehicles Passing through Risky Road Sections (Platforms) Low 0.25

2.3.5 Driving Intensity (30%)

working hours (working hours only when acc is turned on + positioning is met) level risk value
More than 6 hours Basic minutes 55 + (more than seconds * 20 minutes) / 3600
More than 4 hours Basic minutes 25 + (more than seconds * 15 minutes) / 3600
More than 3 hours Basic minutes 5 + (more than seconds * 10 minutes) / 3600
For example: more than 3 hours = 5 minutes + (seconds over 3 hours * 10 minutes)/ 3600 = calculated value * 30%

3. Precautions

  • The higher the risk value, the greater the risk
  • Vehicle offline: The car will be updated online and cleared after 4 hours offline.
